2012 Winter Conference

Essential Literacy Learning:

The Code, the Concepts, the Conversations

February 14-16 | Springfield, Mass.

Guest Track

As part of our three-day Winter Conference, Cornerstone Literacy is offering a one-day Guest Track designed to provide "newcomers" with a special introduction to our work.

Guests will spend Tuesday morning, February 14, observing a model classroom at Frank H. Freedman School. Cornerstone Literacy staff and a select group of classroom teachers will guide guests through observations and reflections and address questions and comments. In the afternoon, guests will join the opening sessions of the conference at the MassMutual Center, which features the keynote presentation by award-winning poet, memoirist, and novelist Jimmy Santiago Baca.
