Southern Regional Meeting - February 2-4, 2003 in Jackson, MS
Attending: Dalton schools, Greenwood schools, Jackson schools, Talladega schools

Northern Regional Meeting - February 23-25, 2003 in Cleveland, OH
Attending: Bridgeport schools, Cleveland schools, New Haven schools, Springfield schools, Philadelphia school, Trenton schools

District strategy managers, Critical Friends, coaches, principals, and parent representatives will arrive Sunday afternoon and convene for a dinner meeting at the hotel before traveling to the first of the host schools on Monday morning. The regional meeting will continue until the end of the school day on Tuesday. Focus for the regional meetings will be "Why We Do What We Do---Literacy Theory in Action"

A schedule for the meeting and a required preparatory reading will be sent to each participant in January.

NEW CORNERSTONE DISTRICTS PLAN WEEK IN LONDON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Dalton, Springfield, and New Haven colleagues anticipate a week of rich engagement with their counterparts in the classrooms of London schools the week of March 17-21. Joining them will be several other Cornerstone veterans (you know who you are) who, for various and sundry reasons, had not been able to participate when their districts worked in the London schools. The Cornerstone cadre will depart the U.S. on Friday p.m., March 14, and will return on Saturday, March 22.
