Nothing More Certain than Change

I wonder if we, collectively, have utilized a single word more than the word change during our Cornerstone journey together? What might it possibly be, other than, perhaps, help? We do know, don't we, those two words are inextricably linked - that's why we've formed this extraordinary partnership. I don't recall anyone telling me it was going to be easy, either, not for you in the schools who must wonder if change and quagmire are synonymous terms - certainly not for the Cornerstone staff who find ourselves in the midst of dizzying change - and sometimes in need of help!

The work of other teachers has always moved me along as an educator, has inspired me, and fueled my imagination for what is possible in the classroom. Observing a colleague's teaching, studying videos of excellent lessons, and reading about the lessons of highly effective teachers can greatly affect my teaching for the better. Now here's an opportunity for us all.
