of Listening Through reflection, the author explores the creative power unleashed through listening. This summer at our Cornerstone Summer Institute, we examined "active listening” as one adult learning approach. In this article, you will hear from an author who also understands the miraculous value of listening both to the one sharing and to the one listening. Brenda Ueland, a prolific Minnesota author and columnist, died in 1985 at the age of 93. Her father was a lawyer and judge, her mother a suffrage leader.
