THE BRITISH ARE COMIN'...

To CLEVELAND, OH & JACKSON, MS
February 16 - 20, 2004
Excitement builds with the announcement that our British colleagues from the Haringey District in London will be travel to the United States soon to spend a week in Cornerstone schools in Cleveland and Jackson. Please don't feel slighted if your school is not a British destination. Because of the specific interests our visitors have, Cornerstone urban schools in Jackson and Cleveland were thought to be the appropriate destinations. British teachers will arrive on the weekend before to enjoy the cultural and geographic highlights of their host cities. They will begin school on Tuesday in Cleveland and on Monday for parent/teacher conferences in Jackson. It is bound to be a memory-making week for all! More news later!

A GREAT RESOURCE FOR TEACHERS! Cornerstone is ALWAYS happy to pass on great resources from which teachers and principals might glean. We have discovered a new newsletter for teachers, specifically for teacher leaders, from the Southeast Center on Teaching Quality. In each issue of TLN eSource, links to new research are shared, along with significant news stories, and interesting conversation about advancements in teacher leadership. Also included are resources that all education leaders can put to use in their daily work, e.g., mentoring, cutting-edge staff development, best instructional practices and more. Visit them soon:
