Guide to Coaching Cornerstone Colleagues, We are thrilled to share another resource for those coaching in your schools. Lu Lewis’ guide is a collection of wisdom gained from the experiences of Cornerstone coaches over the last six years. It is intended to be easy to navigate, relevant to those issues that coaches constantly face, and resourceful in ways to make coaching successful under many different circumstances. We need your help, however, in making sure it meets those objectives. We have put a “special link” below so that after perusing the guide you may make comments and suggestions. And we REALLY desire that feedback! And what other related topics could or should we address in the coaching realm? After we hear from YOU, our Literacy Fellows will also contribute to an epilogue for the guide that will respond to this prompt, “If I could give you one bit of advice…..” The intent is for them to elaborate on insights that they bring as the result of their professional experiences. This spring the FINAL comprehensive “GUIDE FOR YOUR JOURNEY AS A COACH” will be available ongoing on the Cornerstone website and published paper copies will be provided for our network schools as well.
