Zanetti conducts Public Research Lesson

February 13, 2013

Alfred G. Zanetti Montessori Magnet School, in collaboration with Cornerstone Literacy, recently conducted its first Public Research Lesson. The lesson featured the work of the fourth- and fifth-grade teachers (Rebecca Lauterback, Lindsay Franke, Stephanie Pouliot, and Pamela Linscott, with coach Sue Chapell), their experience with the CLI Focused Feedback Process (FFP), and its connections to the district's evaluation system, the Springfield Effective Educator Development System (SEEDS). Participants engaged in classroom observations focused on content and teaching practices and in conversations with the teachers on how they used the FFP recommendations to guide their instruction and to strengthen their professional growth.
